Frequently Asked Question's

What is AuDHD Coaching?

A supportive, neurodivergent-affirming approach that helps people with Autism and ADHD better understand their brains, harness their strengths and navigate life in ways that actually work for them - not just what's expected.

Who would benefit from AuDHD coaching?

Anyone that has or suspects that they have ADHD, Autism or both. It would also be beneficial for parents and loved ones of those with a neurodivergence.

Do I need an official diagnosis to access coaching sessions?

The short answer is no! With how long the wait times currently are in the UK it is not always possible to have a formal diagnosis therefore not required.

How many sessions do I need?

As a guideline I suggest 6-12 sessions to get the full benefit however it is not restricted to this, some people benefit from ongoing sessions.

How long is each session?

Expect each session to last around 45 mins - 1 hour. Movement/sensory breaks can be taken as and when needed.

Do you work with schools and organisations.

Absolutely yes, this can be accessed as a setting for members of staff or for individuals/students. My coaching services can be adapted in so many ways to help the individual and those around them.

Where do the sessions take place?

I hold coaching sessions via video call to allow for flexibility and comfort. Sessions can also take place face-to-face if the individual would prefer and are local to Ely.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Unlike therapy, where the focus might be more on deep emotional work or exploring your past, AuDHD coaching is all about practical strategies, flexible structure and support for navigating life with Autism and ADHD enabling the individual to understand and manage their neurodivergence tailored to their needs.
